Two terrorist attacks were committed less than an hour apart in Judea and Samaria this evening (Wednesday).
At least two people were wounded in a terrorist shooting attack at the Reihan Checkpoint west of Jenin in northern Samaria this evening.
Emergency medical teams provided first aid to the victims. The attack appears to have been a drive-by shooting from a passing vehicle.
Two wounded people have been evacuated from the scene to the hospital in moderate condition.
Significant security forces are at the scene and searching for the attackers.
Shortly after the attack in Samaria, another terrorist attempted to ram soldiers in the southern Hebron Hills. One person was reportedly injured in this attack. The terrorist was neutralized.
According to reports from the scene, after attempting to run over the pedestrians, the terrorist emerged from the vehicle with a knife and stabbed the victim before being shot.
The IDF stated, „Following the initial report regarding a shooting in the area of the Reihan Crossing, a terrorist fired at IDF soldiers conducting operational activity in the area. IDF soldiers began a pursuit after the terrorist.“
„In an additional incident, a terrorist arrived in a vehicle in Har Hevron and attempted to ram IDF soldiers who were in the area. The terrorist then exited his vehicle, attempted to stab a soldier, and was neutralized.“
Samaria Regional Council Chairman Yossi Dagan spoke with the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Yaki Dolf, who updated him on the details of the shooting attack.
After the conversation, Dagan said: „The entire people of Israel and the settlements in Samaria strengthens the IDF soldiers and pray for their success – we give you full support and full trust. We expect and demand from the government to completely turn the tables. I expect and demand from the Israeli government to order the IDF to level the Jenin refugee camp – Jenin is the terror capital of Northern Samaria, just like Khan Yunis and Rafah.“
„I demand that the Israeli government to provide a clear civilian settlement response to the attack, and to announce the construction of a new settlement in northern Samaria – they are coming to expel us from our land, and we need to crush the terror infrastructure with an iron fist and resolutely strengthen the settlement, and convey a clear message. We are here to win. We do not have the privilege of losing this war, which is a zero-sum war, not only for the State of Israel but for the survival of the world as a modern and enlightened world in 2025 against the barbarians. The Israeli government must show that we are here to win.“
Yesterday, IDF forces neutralized a female terrorist who threw stones at soldiers at the Gitti Avishar intersection in the Ephraim Brigade in Samaria. A knife was found on the terrorist’s body, apparently intended to be used in a stabbing attack. There were no casualties during the incident.
